DiSC TRaining: Interactive Adult Learning 

Training Overview:

The Language of Business course is a full day on-site training session with many positive impacts including attracting and retaining talent, strengthening competitive advantage, and improving profitability. By creating a common language around observable behaviors, participants completing our proposed program will have a new awareness of tools for working more effectively with others.

DISC: The Language of Business

Course Objectives: 

Understand behavioral preferences, differences, and consequences of behavioral adaptation.
Have better clarity of their strengths as an employee and work more effectively with their team.
Accept and appreciate differences while reducing destructive conflict patterns.
Learn how and when to adapt behavior to maximize their effectiveness.
Improve communication with teammates, managers, leadership, clients, and other stakeholders.
Focus on exhibiting behaviors that drive commitment, manage conflict, and motivate teams.
Build competencies around managing difficult interpersonal situations.
Adapt more effectively to the needs of the environment and engage employees at a deeper level.
Use behaviors that produce results more efficiently, more effectively, and with greater precision.

Types of Behaviors

Dominant Preference: Prefers fast results, is efficiency-driven and enjoys controlling outcomes.
Influential Preference Prefers meaningful relationships, social interactions, and engaging meetings.
Steady Preference: Enjoy rule compliance, enjoys stability, predictability, and collaborating
Conscientious Preference: Enjoys reviewing data, is hugely loyal, Stick to the Plan, and enforcing standards.

Online DiSC Profiles

Everything DiSC Profile’s are assigned to all emplolyees. Emails are sent out 1 week prior to training for completion.

Training Overview:

Managers and leaders will participate in a monthly process of implementing DiSC® strategies into the workplace. During monthly sessions, we will explore relevant and impactful topics regarding the Management of employees towards more effective teams. Topics could include:

DiSC: Advanced Management

Adaptive management styles and the pitfalls of incorrect behavior selection.
Directing and delegating tasks, projects, and workflows.
Learning how motivation and de-motivation are controllable.
Developing and coaching others for succession planning.
Conducting effective performance evaluations, documentation, and annual evaluations.
Managing difficult conversations, and disruptive employees.
Meeting tools, structures, and guidelines for conducting effective meetings.
Learning how leadership and management strategies synergize productivity.
Facilitating team meetings with an adult learner focus.
Understanding how conflict drives meeting participation and commitment.
We are analyzing teams and developing new ways of interacting for performance.
